Journalism

Well, to start I have to say that since eight grade I wanted to study journalism. It was my dream because it has everything that I like, as writing, politics, finding the truth, talk with people to know their opinion of things, etc.

Over the years I’d been in this career, I think that the job I would like to have must be related to written press, because I believe I have more abilities in this area. I imagine myself working on an international media, like Reuters or CNN. 

The first one is an agency of information, which brings everything that the press doesn’t have the time or the means at their disposal to investigate more about a theme, so they use Reuters as their source. CNN is a television channel which has diversified into the internet, doing also written news.

I would love to be a reporter and travel to different countries where something is happening and get close to the native people of there; but it is more probably that, if I want to write, I got to do it in an office.

I hadn’t taken a major yet, but I would like to study a major on investigative journalism, because that would prepare me to understand better how to do a good investigation for the news I’m writing about.
