U2: The Joshua Tree Tour
Even if it was
the only concert I have ever attended, I definitely loved and enjoyed the U2’s
concert, at the Joshua Tree Tour.
The concert was
on October 14th of 2017, in the National Stadium here in Santiago. The
band was again in our country after six years of the 360° Tour. This time, they
were presenting the thirty anniversary of the disc “The Joshua Tree”.
The group, which
is formed by Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen and Adam Clayton was born in 1976, in
the backyard of Mullen’s house in Ireland.
It was like two
hours of mostly classic songs of U2, and the atmosphere feels very nice, warm,
full of energy and happiness, even if most of the people who attended to it were
at the Stadium, including me, since 10.00 a.m.
I had a lot of
nervousness and expectation of seeing my favorite band, so when Larry come out,
I screamed really, really loud. And, at the end of the concert they sang
Ultraviolet (light my way) and I was deeply moved and I cry a little bit. Not
of sadness, but for having the opportunity to presence such beauty and pure
concert.
It's amazing when you see your favorite band in concert, you are full of many emotions
